So I came across this from a good friend and artist on twitter. I knew I signed up for that darn thing for a reason. Well apparently, this short film animation has already won an award, and gotten a lot of hype, but I didn't hear about it. When I watched it, at first I thought, 'Well that's creative, but getting boring' but then the story kicked in and my jaw dropped. Insert the random jabs at the companies they are portraying, (such as ronald mc donald getting stopped by slamming into a weight watchers truck) and I had to keep going back for more. Even after 5 views, I still find new things I didn't notice before.

Whether you are into flash animation, logos, graphic designs, conceptual art, story telling, or just plain weirdness with an awesome factored in to the tenth degree, WATCH THIS VIDEO. They deserve that award, and many more.

The guys over at This One Is On Us have finally finished their Nine Inch Nails Digital composition of the last three shows Nine Inch Nails played on their Wave Goodbye, final tour. I have been a NIN fan for a decade, and ever since I heard their first album from my brother, they have ALWAYS been my favorite band. The amount of work and dedication Trent Reznor has always put into his music, and shared with his fans is awe-inspiring. THANK YOU to the folks who made this entire compilation possible, and spent months creating this video for us fans! You guys are truly awesome, and may all your dreams come true.

Amazing Movies

The Film the Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus looks like it will be visually stunning, and will capture the imagination of all ages. Both the Special Effects and the Visual Effects look so fresh and new that it really makes me excited about where the future of effects is headed. Not everything is being done in post production, and the fun of creativity going on while on set is just another thing to look forward to.

The beginning of Inspirations

I've always been a huge Neil Gaiman fan, and his stories were my first insight into such a creative world. Dave McKean's visuals, and Neil Gaiman's mind have been the basis of my interest in the artistic world. Gaiman's last major piece of work was Coraline, a movie about a girl who discovers an alternate world that is both similar, but frightening.
I've recently come across a few featurette's that give a peak inside the world behind Coraline's creation for the visual world.
